At 7:34pm on Feb 4th, 1986, the first of twin girls were born. Jacqueline M. White-Tillman was a blessing to her parents, Alicia M. White and Derrick Shoemate. Jackie, as we affectionately called her, was vibrant and smart. She overcame dyslexia in her younger years and excelled as an honor student during her elementary, high school and college years. Upon obtaining her college degree from Kaplan, she began her career as a Medical asst and Phlebotomist, the same field her twin sister would later go into as well. Jackie continued in that field up until her passing.
Jackie gave birth to two beautiful girls, Imani in 2005 and Lavender in 2010. Jackie was a recent newlywed, marrying Christopher Tillman in Feb of this year.
Jackie made an impression everywhere she went and was truly the life of the party. She had an unparalleled ability to find humor and joy in the most mundane moments of life. When Jackie wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her children and most recently her husband.. Family meant everything to her regardless of life’s circumstances, she loved scary movies and board games and would frequently have movie/game nights with them. Jackie also loved to cook and bake and included them in that as well. Their pet cat, Panda was a welcome addition to their family. Her quick wit, infectious laughter and boundless energy were her trademarks and she shared these gifts generously with her family, friends and community, turning ordinary occasions into unforgettable celebrations. Beyond her roll as wife and mother, Jackie was a cherished friend, a supportive confidante and a pillar of strength to all who knew her. Her kindness, compassion and enthusiasm, touched the lives of countless people, leaving a permanent mark, on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have met her.
Jackie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Christopher, her children Imani and Lavender, Her mother Alicia (Marion), Her father Derrick (Lisa), maternal sisters, Faye (Bryan), Dora and Jaymee (Paul), fraternal sisters, Shanice and Kesha, many friends, coworkers and neighbors.
