Lidija Nakovska age 50, of Cicero, Indiana, formerly of Lake County, passed away with her family by her side after a 5 year fierce battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  Lidija came to the United States in 1979 and at the age of 16 began working for Bronko’s Restaurant (starting in Gary, Crown Point and finally in Cicero) and was a dedicated employee for 34 years.

Lidija’s world revolved around her children Richie and Bella. She loved spending time with her son and daughter as well as her entire family. She enjoyed flowers and gardening as well as cooking. She  appreciated and loved those special moments shopping with her partner her sister and making those special memories with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dimitri Nakovski and Jela Nakovska.

Lidija is survived by her beloved children Richard Nakovski and Annabella Siljanovska; 2 loving sisters Marina Nakovska and Zaneta (Ilce) Dimovski; nieces Pavlina (Jose) Navarro: and Andriana (Christopher) Zupanoski, nephew Nikola (Natalie) Dimovski and her nieces and nephews Adrian, Noah, Alaya, Gabriel, Emilija, and her Godson Niko as well as many other friends and relatives both here and in Macedonia.

Visitation for Lidija will be Friday, November 29, 2024 from 9am at S.S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point, IN with funeral service beginning at 10am with Father Georgij Gligorov and Father Aleksandar Mitrov officiating. Interment Angelcrest Cemetery in Valparaiso. Lidija will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
