William Brandon “Bill” Boswell-Kramer, age 49, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Bill was the most loving husband, father, and friend. He fought his almost six-year-long battle with cancer until the very end, always maintaining his hope, strength, positivity, and sense of humor.
Bill was employed as a salesman, affectionately known as “Bottles Bill” by his customers and coworkers. He was a 1994 graduate of Crown Point High School, and he earned his bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University in 1999. Bill was extremely intelligent, even attending a special school for gifted, high IQ individuals during his elementary years.
In his spare time, Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, going to amusement parks and water parks, spending time near and on the water, boating, golfing, watching the Chicago Cubs, completing crossword puzzles, and listening to rock music. He was known for his relaxed style and humor, always coming up with a joke to put a smile on someone’s face.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Michelle Boswell-Kramer, beloved daughter Nicole Boswell-Kramer, parents Dennis and Ashley Kramer, and sister Alisa Fredrick. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jack and Mildred Mills Wilson, paternal grandparents Ralph and Mae Kramer, paternal aunt Linda Mae Kramer, father-in-law Kenneth Boswell, and mother-in-law Pamela Boswell.
Visitation for Bill will be on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. All services will be held at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN, 46410. Burial services will be held at Calumet Park Cemetery following the visitation and service.

I am a cousin of Bill’s father, Dennis Kramer. I’m so sorry to learn of Bill’s death. My sincere condolences to all his family members.
