Cynthia Baradziej, 78, of Dyer, IN passed away on December 13, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1946 to Leo and Frances Grothouse.  She recently celebrated her 55th wedding anniversary this past October to her loving husband Donald Baradziej.

Cynthia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a graduate of Whiting High School and became a barber after graduation, having the privilege of working side by side with her father at his downtown Whiting barbershop. She loved her poodles and spending time with family and friends.

Cynthia is survived by her husband Donald Baradziej, her son Kevin (Kellean) Baradziej and two grandchildren Jack and Peighton Baradziej.

A memorial visitation for Cynthia will be held on December 19, 2024 from 3pm-7pm. Memorial services will be held on December 20, 2024 at 10. All services will be held at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN 46410. Interment will be held at Calumet Park Cemetery immediately following the services.
