William Simpson, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Friday, January 10, 2025. Willy was a retired industrial painter out of Local 460, District 91. He loved fishing, hunting, all sports, tending to his garden and especially spending time with his grandchildren, who lovingly called him Papa. He was kind and generous to all who knew him, and was always trying to make people laugh. He was also an animal lover and is very much missed by his dog, Peanut.
William is survived by his loving wife, of 40 years, Roberta; children, Kristine (Julius) Kim, Jason (Tara) Cromwell and Gloria (Robert) Morris; grandchildren, Spencer, Andrew, Cooper, Chase, Autumn, Nathan, Gina and John; siblings, Roger (Landra) Simpson, Kay (Jay) Finnerty, Julie Miller, Norma (Marc) Valentine and Connie (Buck) Moffit; many nieces, nephews and friends who will dearly miss him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Floyd, and Ruby Simpson; son, William; brothers, Larry and Ricky.
