John Sikanovski, age 61 of Valparaiso IN, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2025. John was born in Capari, Macedonia and then later came to United States with his parents and sister. He was a lifelong member of S.S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. John was a really big sports fanatic as he loved all sports but football was his favorite.
He was perceded in death by his father Milan Sikanovski and his brother-in-law Karl Abbott.
John is survived by his loving mother Zivka Sikanovski; beloved sister Slavica Abbott; his adored niece Jessica (Erik) Dowell; precious great niece Olive Dowell; and many other family members, Kumovi and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10am to 11am at S. S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point, IN with funeral service beginning at 11am. Rev Georgij Gligorov and Rev Aleksandar Mitrov officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery. May his memory be eternal.
