Milutin Veljanoski, age 89, of Crown Point passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Milutin was a life long member of S.S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. He was a retired employee of US Steel Corporation with over 30 years of dedicated service. He was a family man who cherished his family and friends very much. 
 He is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Spasija and his son Chris (Risto) Veljanoski,  great-grandchild Nicholas Trajkovski and in death his parents Slobodan and Slavka Veljanoski and brother-in-laws Slobodan Gorseski and Bogoja Gjorseski.
Milutin is survived by his loving wife Ristovka; his 3 children Dimitri (Blagorodna) Veljanoski, Klimka (Donald) Grubbe; and Violet Davidson; daughter-in-law Klimentina Veljanoski; 10 cherished grandchildren, Kristina (Stojan) Trajkovski, Sandy (Mike) Jamison, Brian (Claire) Kutanovski, Angie (Jordan) Wilkerson, Brandon (Morgan) Grubbe, Timothy (Suzanne)Veljanoski, Cassie Veljanoski, and Derek, Sara, and Hannah Davidson; 14 adored great-grandchildren; his siblings Srebre (Jorda) Veljanoski, Krste (Violeta) Angeloff, Spasija Gjorseski, Blagoja (Jorda)Veljanoski, and Jorda Gjorseski; also many other nieces, nephews and relatives both here and in Macedonia.
 Milutin loved making memories with his family and truly was enamored with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He loved gardening and woodwork, and woodworking projects, he loved to “fix” everything; he was a real “fix it” man. He truly enjoyed getting together with his friends and playing a good game of cards. He was “Dedo” for everyone. He will be missed by all who loved him and fondly remembered as he will live in the hearts  of those that he has left behind.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 10 am S.S. Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point, IN until the time of Funeral Service at 11am.
