Lawrence “Larry” Aaron Wolfson, age 83, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 18th, 2025, in his home with his wife by his side.

Born on July 11th, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the late son of Norman and Doris Wolfson. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Wolfson, of 38 years. His Children; Marc Wolfson, Sara Ruby, Aaron Wolfson, Ryan Wolfson, and Ashley Wolfson. He was a proud Grandfather of Jordan, Emma, Julia, Carlee, and Novian along with his great granddaughter Hayden. He is also survived by his sister Wendy Ridge, his brother-in-law Matt Hahn, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Larry enlisted in the Navy in 1961, where he served his country proudly in the Vietnam War as a hospital corpsman. After retiring from the US Navy in 1971, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology and MSBA from Indiana University. He then spent the 40 plus years of his career as a Director of Materials Management for several hospitals and a Healthcare Consultant.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
