Barry Edwin Snyder, age 74, formerly of New Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully in Valparaiso, Indiana on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Wikander)
Snyder, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Born on May 28, 1950, he was the son of Jack Judson and Louise (Clemens) Snyder. Barry graduated from Redbank Valley High School in 1968 and continued his education at Electronic
Institutes of Pittsburgh, PA in Design Draftsman studies.

Barry worked as a surveyor and draftsman for 43 years, having retired in December 2013. His employers included H. F. Scott Surveying & Engineering, Brosious Surveying, C&K Coal
Company, and Alexander & Associates. Throughout his career, he earned several awards at an annual Penn State Surveyors Conference in Hershey, PA for his topographical map designs in
their Plat competitions.

Barry was also a skilled craftsman, designing and helping to build their home in Climax where his family resided for over 40 years. During the years Barry lived in New Bethlehem, he
attended Oakland Church of God in Distant, where he enjoyed volunteering with audio. In his free time, Barry loved carpentry, trout fishing, deer hunting, mowing on his John Deere,
cleaning his cars, and watching Steelers, Pirates and Penguins games.

Surviving in addition to his wife Beth are two sons Barry (Krissy) Snyder and Brian (Meredith) Snyder, and a daughter Brandi Snyder, and eight grandchildren: Jack, Kayla, Levi, Mackenzie,
Nash, Oren, Meadow and Maizie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Louise Snyder and his brother, Daniel Snyder.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15 at the Oakland Church of God, 122 Kohlersburg Rd, Distant, PA 16223. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM followed by an 11 AM
funeral service.
