Bertha Heridia, 87, of Crown Point, Indiana, left us peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 6, 2024.

Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Frank Heridia, her parents, David and Carmen Gudino and her 3 brothers and 2 sisters, her children Frank and Mona . She is survived by her three sisters, Martha Chavez, Lupe Alvarez, and Lilia Alvarez. Her children, David (Nouha) Heridia, Cheryl Dishart, and Mike Heridia, her grandson David Francisco Heridia..  

Her pride and joy was her grandson David (Frankie). She loved to cook and spend time with her family, and be in the garden with all her flowers.  Her favorite color was purple, and she would love to wear and decorate everything in that color.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Bertha will be held on Thursday July 11, 2024 from 4PM-8PM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN 46410. A visitation will be offered at 10:00 AM until time of  funeral mass at 11AM on Friday July 12, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2447 Putnam St, Lake Station, IN 46405. Burial services will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery, 2305 West 73rd Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410.
