Galina Meuch, age 87, of Merrillville, IN passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025. Galina was born to parents Vasily and Evdokia Zaiko in Haysy Ukraine on June 2, 1937. She is survived by her one and only daughter Maria Thomsen whom she adored to the moon and back.

Maria also said Galina was the most precious, wonderful mother that any child could ever have. May her Memory Be Eternal.

Visitation will take place Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5-7pm with a Panihkida Service beginning at 7pm with Rev Doc Jacob Van Sickle officiating at Protection of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 8600 Grand Blvd, Merrillville, IN. Funeral Services will begin promptly at 11am on Friday at the church. Interment Elmwood Cemetery Hammond.
