Gloria G. Ramos (nee Guerra), 89, of Merrillville, IN, passed away peacefully om March 7th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Jessie Guerra; sister, Irene Velazquez; husband, Joseph Jr., and son, Alfred. She is survived by her loving children: David (Kathleen), Robert (Paula), Joseph (Christine), Debra (Frank), and Steven (Maria); as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren near and far. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family.

Gloria was unwavering in her devotion to her faith and was a great friend and neighbor to many. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Living Hope Church and Hospice of the Calumet Area for providing great comfort, compassionate care, and prayer to Gloria and her family in their time of need.

Gloria’s wishes were that her visitation, service, and interment be held privately with her family. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. Instead of flowers, donation can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, whose children were always in Gloria’s prayers and touched her heart.
