Keith Allan Deering, 38, of New Chicago, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

He is survived by his beloved parents, Linda and Charles; his cherished children: Karter and ArialMarie Deering, Dillan, Aidan, and Abel; his loving wife, Mandi Mitchell; his best pup and the protector of his family, Chula; his leopard gecko, Dottie; his paternal grandmother, Donna Deering; brother, Kevin (Christa Christian) and sisters: Tiffany Stone and Renee (Steven) Gasaway; son’s mother, Kassie Ray; and many, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and countless extended family and friends.

He joins in eternity his paternal grandfather, Walter Deering; his maternal grandparents, Dorothy Hartman and Theodore Smelko; and nephew, Elijah Burgos.

Keith was a loving son, brother, and father and husband whose greatest love in life was his family. His pride in his children and the adoration he had for his family was unmatched. He extended for his family no matter what! He had been working with EHC Industries for 13 years, and when not working, he found peace and adventure in riding his motorcycle side by side with his wife Mandi, camping, fishing, and supporting his kids in their activities and sports.

His smile brought light to the lives of many and he will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known him. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Sunday, October 13, 2024 1-6pm @ VFW in Lake Station on Central Ave followed by a Memorial Ride on Sunday, October 20, 2024 @ 12pm Noon.
