Marija Kajmakoska, age 84 of Crown Point passed away October 1, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on August 27^th, 1940, in Mislesevo, Struga, Macedonia and married her husband Stojan Kajmakoski on May 6^th, 1960. The were blessed with two sons Zoran and Ilija prior to moving the United States in February of 1979.

Marija is preceded by her husband Stojan, parents Vlase and Ana; her in-laws Anastas and Vesa; brother Bogoja and sisters Lojza, Anastasija, Kostandinka and Velika; nephews Slave, Ace and Jone; Brother in laws Petre, Bogoja, Klime and Jone and sister in laws Velika, Cvetla and Anastasija.

She is survived by her two loving sons Zoran (Svetlana) Kajmakoski and Ilija (Biljana) Kajmakoski; cherished grandsons Steven (Helena) Kajmakoski, Nikolce (Andrea) Kajmakoski, Aleksandar Kajmakoski and Nikola Kajmakoski; adored great-granddaughter Eleni Maria Kajmakoski; her sister Cveta Josifioski and family and many other nephews, nieces and extended family.

Marija was a very loving mother and grandmother; she was always kind and there for her family. She always lent a helping hand and was someone to turn to for advice. She really enjoyed gardening every year with her husband +Stojan, they tended to it every morning an throughout the day. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She will be forever loved and missed by those who adored her.

Visitation for Marija will be Monday, October 7, 2024, at S. S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Church, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point from 9am to 11am. Funeral Service will begin at 11am with Rev Georgij Gligorov and Rev Aleksandar Mitrov officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery. May her memory be eternal!
