Milica Sazdanovski, born July 31, 1936 in Capari, Macedonia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she sadly passed away on September 3, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. She immigrated to the United States with her husband Kiril in 1974 and worked for Arthur Weiner for 14 years. An active member of S.S. Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Church, Milica enthusiastically participated in bake sales and cherished time with friends and family. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed. Milica’s hobbies included knitting and baking, which brought joy to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Kiril, sons Nikolce and Ivan, parents Lazar and Marija, and siblings Metodija, Peco, Sofija, Dragica, and Vera. Surviving family members include her daughter Lubica (Zoran) Janakievski, grandchildren Nikolce (Jovanka) Janakievski, Natasha (Aleksandar) Mickovski, great-grandchildren Zara, Luka, Jovan, and Ema, siblings John and Tome Rostankovski, sister Eva Trajkov, and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
Visitation for Milica will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 eginning at 10am. Funeral Services will at 11am S.S. Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral with Father Georgij Gligorov and Father Aleksandar Mitrov officiating. Internment Calumet Park Funeral Chapel.
