With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nabeel Jamil Haddad of Chicago, IL. Nabeel, age 77, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Nabeel’s family is originally from Amman Jordan, but he was born in Ramallah on December 30, 1947, where his father served as a police officer. Nabeel immigrated to the United States in 1968 at the age of 21. After spending 12 years working for US Steel, he became a successful entrepreneur and ran his own business until his retirement in 2001.

A devoted husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather, Nabeel cherished his family deeply. He instilled strong values in his daughters, and his legacy will live on through them.

Nabeel was preceded in death by his parents, Jamil and Nawara, and his siblings: Subhi (late Mary), Josephine (late Michael), Fuad (Alice), Samir (Sawsan), and Raja.

He is survived by his wife, Fawzieh, daughters Jomana, Jihan, Randa (Jason), and Rawan, grandson Elijah, and sisters Salwa and Majdolene (late Samir).

Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 370 N. County Line Rd., Hobart, IN 46342.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Nativity of Our Savior Parish, 2949 Willowcreek Rd., Portage, IN 46368.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 801 Michigan City Rd., Calumet City, IL 60409.

Nabeel now rests in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. While his physical presence may no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.
