Patrice McCall, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Tony Borel; her goddaughter, Olivia Medved of Brooklyn, NY; and her best friends, Lynn Medved of Miller Beach, IN, and Kathy Pierce and Maryann Schaefer of Ogden Dunes, IN. Patrice was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce McCall, and her sister, Susan McCall.

Patti was a 1974 graduate of Merrillville High School and attended Indiana University Bloomington. She loved her pets and would always take in the unfortunate ones. She enjoyed home decorating and helping her friends with projects. She was president of the Ogden Dunes Community Fund, stewarding grant funding for town beautification, and assisted the Ogden Dunes Women’s Club with important annual projects.

She was a loving person with a giving heart and a great sense of humor. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service held at 11AM. All services will be held at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN. A celebration of life will take place on August 2nd at 5 PM at Marina Shores Yacht Club (5987 Dune Harbor Drive, Portage, Indiana 46368).
