Shannon Himden, 48, of Portage, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother, Sandra Himden; her beloved daughter, Makayla (Jordan Bazzinett) Himden; her soulmate, Sean Devine; her dear sister, Dawn (Jeff) Bliss; treasured nieces and nephews: Kaitlyn Bliss, and Matthew (Tina) Bliss; her cherished fur babies: Jasper, Oliver, and Spencer; and many friends.
Shannon will forever be remembered for having the biggest heart, making sure to take care of others even before herself. She enjoyed adventure and was a huge Cubs fan. She was a collector of Tinkerbell and Betty Boop memorabilia, which showcased her bubbly and sassy personality.
She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 3:30 PM with memorial visitation beginning at 1:00 at Calumet Park Hobart – Portage Chapel (370 North County Line Road, Hobart). For more information, call 219-943-3791.
